Hours: 40 hours per week (4x10‑hour shifts, 07:00‑17:30)
Schedule: Day shift; call required for 1 shift per week and every 3rd weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support an interventional cardiology unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the cardiac catheterization lab environment and will be proficient in the use of Phillips equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Monitor hemodynamics and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain equipment and manage inventory for the procedural area.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high‑quality care.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of sterile fields during procedures.
- Provide patient education and support throughout the procedural process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings.
- ACLS & BLS certifications required.
- ARRT or RCIS certification required; candidates with either certification will be considered.
- Experience with equipment monitoring and management in a cardiac catheterization lab.
- Proficient in various cardiac procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and hemodynamic monitoring.
