Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position supporting invasive cardiac procedures, patient monitoring, procedural preparation, and collaboration with interventional cardiologists. The role includes daytime shifts and on‑call coverage, with responsibilities spanning pre‑procedure, intra‑procedure, and post‑procedure patient care.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited technical program; certification as an ARRT or RCIS technologist; two years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates or bachelors degree in science.
• Schedule: Four 10‑hour daytime shifts per week, generally 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with one weekday off; on‑call coverage is required one to two weekdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. and every third weekend from Friday at 5:30 p.m. through Monday at 6:30 a.m.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting with right‑heart monitoring, myocardial biopsies, left‑heart catheterizations, and interventional procedures; operating fluoroscopy, monitoring, defibrillation, and interventional equipment; preparing procedure rooms, trays, and patients; maintaining sterile and clean technique; documenting procedures and patient information accurately; communicating vital patient information to the physician and healthcare team; transporting patients; supporting research‑related information gathering; and responding to emergent on‑call requests within 30 minutes. Navy blue scrub attire is required, and the facility provides it.
