Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a Cath Lab, current CA license, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, RCIS/RCES/CRT). Onboarding labs must be completed within 3–5 days of signing.

Qualifications

• Valid certifications including BLS (AHA); RCES, CRT or RCIS accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (preferably with structural heart procedures)
• CA State License must be current and uploaded within 2 weeks
• 7 years of work history verification required
• ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT or RCIS certifications accepted

Job Summary

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position is based in the healthcare setting where the role involves assisting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in performing interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This position requires technical expertise, patient interaction skills, and adherence to safety protocols. The role offers an opportunity to support complex cardiac procedures, including diagnostic and interventional tests, under supervision of the cardiologist in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, starting at 0700 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including BLS (AHA); RCES, CRT or RCIS accepted; at least 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, preferably with structural heart procedures; valid CA State License uploaded within the last 2 weeks; 7 years of work history verification required.
• Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT or RCIS are accepted.
• Skills: Accurate monitoring, ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, fluoroscopy, IABP placement/removal, percutaneous coronary interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), equipment setup, recognition of arrhythmias, and other interventional cardiac procedures.
• Shift Duration: 10 hours per shift, with working hours starting at 0700 hours.
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• End Date: 01/04/2027
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or related procedures.
• Additional Requirements: Successful completion of onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. Candidates must provide accurate work history for the past 7 years and relevant certifications with expiration dates.
• Compliance & Policies: No separation time required for return staff; maximum RTO of 7 days per contract; holiday coverage includes specified holidays with earliest start at 7:00 PM the night before and latest end at 7:00 AM the day after the holiday. All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date.
