Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. The position involves assisting physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures in a catheterization lab, with 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment.

Requirements include AHA BLS/ACLS within 3 months, RCIS or Radiologic Technologist license within 1 year, and 2 years of relevant cath lab experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital.
• Proficiency with manifold systems and hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Prepare and organize equipment, assist with patient positioning and monitoring, calibrate and test transducers.
• Assist with vascular access and hemostasis; maintain equipment standards; participate in on-call responsibilities.
