Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking an experienced Travel Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Brick, New Jersey. You will join a high-acuity team supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Requirements include at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or Applied Science program, current BLS, and ARRT preferred.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or Applied Science program.
Current BLS certification (AHA).
ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the procedural team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile supplies before each case.
Maintain a sterile field while supporting physicians throughout procedures.
Set up and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recording patient data during procedures.
Operate imaging and procedural equipment while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Assist with temporary and permanent pacemaker procedures.
Support the use of advanced cardiac assist devices, including Impella and IABP.
Assist with vascular access management, sheath removal, and post-procedure hemostasis.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and promptly recognize changes in cardiac rhythm or condition.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection prevention protocols.
Help maintain equipment, stock procedural supplies, and participate in the department's on-call rotation.
