Job summary

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our team. This assignment requires weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation in a high‑acuity lab. CT license and 3+ years Cath Lab/EP Lab experience are required; ARRT/RCIS preferred. You will scrub and support PCI, ablations, TAVR, and other complex cardiovascular procedures.

Shift: Days / 6:30a-7p, 13 weeks. Travel position with weekly gross pay and comprehensive benefits package. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• CT license required.
• Minimum 3+ years Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab experience.
• Experience with radial and femoral access, sheath management, and closure devices.
• Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Cross‑trained in EP, cath lab, neurointerventional, and structural labs preferred.
• Candidate proficient in high‑acuity cardiovascular procedures and complex interventional cases.
• Experience scrubbing cath lab procedures including PCI and devices (Impella, IABP, pacing).
• BLS and ACLS required.
• ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI required or preferred.
• Familiarity with electrophysiology procedures, ablations, device implants, and lead revisions.
• Structural heart scrubbing experience (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman) preferred.
• Knowledge of ICE, IVUS, OCT, 3D mapping systems, and MCS devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotations.
• Scrub and assist in cardiac cath lab procedures (diagnostic and interventional).
• Assist with PCI, atherectomy, and mechanical circulatory support devices.
• Support EP procedures including ablations and device implants.
• Assist with structural heart procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman.
• Utilize advanced imaging and mapping technologies.

Requirements:

• CT license
• Minimum 3 years + Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience
• Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices
• Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
• Ideal tech will be a cross‑trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced experience across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories
• Proficient in supporting high‑acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases
• Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy), and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing)
• BLS
• ACLS
• ARRT (R) and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI
• Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred)
• If a licensed radiologic technologist - Familiarity with Siemens and RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI preferred
• Proficient in scrubbing structural heart procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman preferred
• Skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies, including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems and mechanical circulatory support devices preferred

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
