Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Virginia. The assignment is 13 weeks long with 40 hours per week and 10-hour day shifts.

The right candidate should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and hold BLS/ACLS certifications. Duties include assisting during angioplasty, catheterization and electrophysiology, with a focus on patient safety and team support.

Qualifications

• RN with Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain EKG equipment and patient status.
• Support angioplasty, valvuloplasty and stent placements.
• Assist with pacemaker/ICD implantation when applicable.
