Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work a 10-hour day shift in a 13-week assignment.

As a Cath Lab RN, you will assist physicians during catheterization and angioplasty, monitor EKGs, perform post-procedure care, and support a fast-paced cardiovascular team. ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Support angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Monitor patients and operate EKG equipment.
