Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. The role focuses on assisting during angioplasties, pacemaker implants, and diagnostic procedures in an acute care Cath Lab setting.

You will maintain patient safety, monitor status, and support physicians during procedures while meeting RN licensure and ACLS/BLS requirements. This travel assignment runs for 12 weeks with a 40-hour week and dayshift.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients during invasive cardiac procedures.
• Identify blockages and assist physicians during procedures while monitoring patient status.
• Administer interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker/defibrillator implants.
