Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and 4x10 hour day shifts. On-call duty applies with a potential holiday coverage. Compact or SD RN license is required, with at least two years in cath lab.

Qualifications

• Active SD or compact RN license required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab RN experience required.
• Graduation from an approved nursing program required; NLN or AACN accreditation preferred.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab within an acute care hospital.
• Maintain 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Assist with heart catheterizations, PCIs, pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs, cardioversions, venous ablations, and peripheral vascular angiograms.
• Operate and monitor equipment (Pyxis, XIM Philips, Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS, Acist).
• Document in Epic EMR and participate in charting.
