Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Jackson, Mississippi. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week, days shift, and a travel employment type.

1-2 years of acute care experience is preferred; ACLS/BLS certifications are required to support invasive cardiovascular procedures. The Cath Lab RN will support physicians during angioplasty, catheterization, and electrophysiology, with tasks including monitoring EKG equipment and assisting in complex cardiovascular

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies and assist physicians with cardiac catheterization.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and ICDs.
