Job summary

TotalMed RN in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work 36 hours per week in a 9-hour daytime shift within a cardiovascular surgical environment.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and the ability to support physicians during catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and pacemaker/ICD implants.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or able to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat heart conditions.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and ICDs.
