Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel assignment in Towson, Maryland. The RN will support physicians in a cardiovascular surgical environment, assisting during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related devices.

This role demands 1-2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. The position features 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, and a travel employment type.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Support during angioplasty, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Assist with implantation of pacemakers and ICDs.
• Monitor EKG equipment and patient status in a cardiovascular lab.
