Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Tech focusing on Imaging for a full-time travel assignment in Rockford, IL. The role requires ARRT or RCIS certification, a valid state radiologic license (if applicable), and at least one year in a cardiac cath lab.

You will prepare and operate imaging equipment, assist physicians in procedures, monitor patient status, and uphold sterile technique with strong teamwork and communication. Travel stipends and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• ARRT or RCIS certification required.
• Valid state license for radiologic technology (if applicable).
• At least one year of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and intra-procedural imaging support.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and cardiac cath lab protocols.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment in the cath lab.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patient status and document procedure details accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere strictly to safety and infection control standards.
• Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
