Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment in Carbondale, IL. You will prepare and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, operate imaging equipment, and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort throughout each case.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure as applicable, 1–2 years Cath Lab experience, and BLS/ACLS. Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a high-demand imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification or equivalent in Radiology or Imaging Technology.
• Valid state license for Radiologic Technologist (if required).
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work harmoniously with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Operate and maintain all imaging equipment for precise and safe procedures.
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
