Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Janesville, Wisconsin. This position focuses on electrophysiology, TAVR, and left atrial appendage closure, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 40 hours per week.

You will work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, perform patient prep with sterile technique, and participate in on-call weeknights and every fourth weekend, ensuring radiation safety and accurate fluoroscopy documentation.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiology program (education verification required).
AART registered.
Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License.
Cardiovascular Technologist registered.
BLS Certification.
ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

Ensure the integrity and expiration dates of all sterile supplies.
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while utilizing sterile techniques.
After procedures, prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization.
Monitor and record all procedural data, maintaining event logs.
Ensure patient comfort by familiarizing them with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure.
Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites, including sterile draping.
Utilize sterile and aseptic techniques when scrubbing into procedures to prevent infections.
Advocate for radiation safety and protection for oneself and colleagues.
Document fluoroscopy times and radiation doses, evaluating reports to ensure they are within established safety limits.
