The role requires ARRT or CVT certification, ACLS/BLS, and prior travel experience. Expect 36 hours per week on 9-hour shifts with dayshift coverage, and licensure timing in Iowa.

• Document accurately in EPIC EMR system.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cardiac and cath lab procedures, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and equipment relevant to this specialty.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x9 hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
• Start Time: 0645
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekend Requirements: To be determined

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for patients undergoing peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as Artis Zee c-arm, Impella, IABP, and Acist Injector effectively.
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the electronic medical record system (EPIC).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in a Cardiac/Cath Lab setting.
• Completion of at least one travel contract within the past 12 months is required.
• Experience with Impella is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and comfort in performing peripheral and coronary angiography cases.
• Proficiency with PCI and pacemaker procedures is essential.
• Iowa Radiology license is highly preferred but not a requirement; must apply upon job offer acceptance.
• ARRT or CVT certification is required.
• Active AHA ACLS and BLS certification is required.

Additional Information

Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility, and prior employees of the organization are not eligible for rehire in travel roles within the past 12 months. Orientation dates are scheduled for September 21st and September 28th. Additional holiday participation may be required during designated summer holidays, pending unit operations.
