Intensive Care Unit Burn (ICU Burn) nurse position in a specialized burn and reconstructive unit. This role involves providing high acuity patient care within a 22-bed unit, managing patients with complex needs such as stroke and cardiac conditions, including off-service patients. The position is scheduled for night shifts starting October 12, 2026, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week through January 11, 2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts totaling 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 2 years of experience in a related setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in burn care, critical care, or related specialties will be prioritized.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has a standard electronic medical record system using Meditech. Staffing includes one registered nurse (RN), certified nurse (CN), patient care technician (PCT), and unit clerk (UC) during both day and night shifts. The unit's dress code is navy blue scrubs. Staffing constraints prevent approval for holiday time off during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
