Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Huntingdon, PA. The role is 13 weeks, nights (3x12-hour shifts), with 36 hours per week, and 19:00–07:00 schedule. A PA RN license, BLS, CCM, and MH experience are required.

The nurse will assess patients, administer meds, and implement crisis interventions while documenting care and coordinating with the care team to support recovery.

Qualifications

• PA RN license required at time of application.
• Current BLS and CCM certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, preferably in mental health.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' physical and mental health status.
• Administer medications and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
• Implement behavior management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
• Document patient care activities and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Support patients in coping with their conditions and promoting recovery.
