Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for an Adolescent Mood Disorders Unit in Maryland. The role requires 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience and a valid MD or compact RN license, with prior charge nurse responsibilities.

The position features a night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30), no on-call requirements, and a travel-friendly environment. Candidates must pass drug screening, have BLS, and be prepared for Sunrise EMR usage.

Qualifications

• Active MD or compact RN license required in-hand at time of consideration (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Current BLS certification required; CPI certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Previous charge RN experience required.
• Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR experience preferred.
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland via Livescan prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Night shift on the Adolescent Mood Disorders Unit, 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30).
• Every other weekend required; no on-call requirements.
• Floating to any age population when scheduling needs arise; patient ratio 1:4.
• Charting in Sunrise (Allscripts) EMR; may act as charge RN during shifts.
• Navy blue scrubs; parking on campus; travelers welcome; local candidates accepted.
