Job summary

A leading travel staffing agency is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Murray, Utah. Candidates must have at least one year of vascular or interventional experience along with an active ARRT registration. Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of vascular or interventional radiology experience.
  • Active ARRT(R)(RT) with angiography experience, or ARRT(R)(VI) certification.
  • All certifications must be AHA-issued and valid.
  • Active Utah State Rad Tech License required; license required if applicable.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA).
  • ACLS or PALS preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.
  • All certifications must be AHA‑issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date.

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identification and exam preparation.
  • Assist during procedures as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech.
  • Maintain work area with appropriate supply inventory.
  • May apply closure devices, suture sheaths in place, or remove sheaths and apply pressure to achieve hemostasis at the end of procedures.
  • Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Transport patients and maintain work area with appropriate supply inventory.
  • Physical demands include lifting and transferring patients, standing for extended periods, pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, and fine‑motor manipulation of complex equipment.
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated from any facility in this health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist - Angiography with at least 1 year of vascular or interventional experience and active ARRT registration for a 13-week travel assignment in Utah.

  • May apply closure devices, suture sheaths in place, or remove sheaths and apply pressure to achieve hemostasis at the end of procedures
  • Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure
  • Transport patients and maintain work area with appropriate supply inventory
  • Physical demands include lifting and transferring patients, standing for extended periods, pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, and fine‑motor manipulation of complex equipment
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated from any facility in this health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
Pay and Benefits

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
