Job summary

Refuge Counseling & Wellness is a trauma-focused group practice in Vancouver, WA seeking licensed therapists to join on a hybrid schedule. A minimum of 2 years of experience and active WA licenses (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) are required, with training in EMDR/Brainspotting preferred or willingness to train.

You will build a caseload with strong team support, while receiving employer-sponsored training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Washington state mental health license: LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Associates with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience may apply.
• Trauma-informed, evidence-based framework; training in EMDR, Brainspotting, or ART preferred or willingness to train.
• Modalities include: Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, attachment-focused and psychodynamic therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or couples therapy to adults navigating trauma.
• Build caseload with full support from Refuge team; referrals/marketing handled for you.
• Collaborate with teammates through peer consultation and shared learning.
• Grow clinical skills through employer-sponsored training and specialty modalities.
• Complete thorough session documentation within 24 hours; maintain high ethical standards.
