Job summary

The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Trauma Therapist to provide individual and group therapy for survivors of sexual violence and their families. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain documentation, and connect clients to community resources.

A Master’s degree and an OH license are required, with 2+ years of clinical experience and reliable transportation. The role includes a full-time schedule, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Services, Counseling, Art Therapy and/or related field.
OH licenses: LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC.
2+ years of direct clinical/therapy experience.
2+ years of experience with survivors of sexual violence.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide primary therapy for survivors of sexual violence and their supporters.
Co-facilitate survivor support groups.
Understand each individual’s path to recovery and knowledge of substance use treatment.
Coordinate referrals to community resources to support recovery.
Engage clients in recovery-building activities and maintain timely services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to identify client needs and plan care.
Maintain required records and data in accordance with program standards.
