Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services seeks a Technologist I in Radiology to perform routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including surgical imaging, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results and efficient workflow. The role involves preparing patients, assisting during procedures, and documenting images in EMR/PACS.

Required are an accredited radiologic technology associate degree, Mississippi licensure, ARRT eligibility or certification, and 1–3 years of trauma/surgical

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. Required
• CPR certification (AHA). Required
• Mississippi Radiologic Technologist Licensure required upon hire
• ARRT certification or registry eligible. Required
• 1-3 years experience with trauma and surgery C-arm cases. Required
• Ability to work within budgetary guidelines
• Ability to report malfunctions to Supervisor/Bio-Med
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including surgical imaging.
• Provide timely, high-quality radiology services while optimizing workflow to minimize delays.
• Prepare and manage patients during imaging exams and adjust techniques as needed.
• Assist physicians and other staff during procedures.
• Document patient information, imaging details, and contrast administration in EMR/PACS.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
