Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a Trauma Surgery inpatient coverage assignment in Redding, CA. Assignment spans Sep 04, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026 with shifts 3p-1a and potential weekends. Board-certified NP/PA with CA license and active CA DEA are required.

Credentialing is underway; healer will cover 20-25 patients daily in a Level II trauma facility with Cerner EMR. Local providers available for support; paid travel may be included.

Qualifications

• Experience in trauma/critical care settings is required.
• Active CA NP furnishing number is required.
• CA NP/PA board certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history, perform physical exams, and document findings.
• Order tests, therapies, and nursing services as needed.
• Perform procedures such as laceration repair, chest tube insertion, and line placements.
• Initiate admissions, complete records, and coordinate referrals.
• Administer medications under physician supervision.
