As the Emergency General Surgery Director at Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health, you will join our Division of Trauma-Critical Care Surgery and lead our Section of Emergency General Surgery.
Every day you will provide leadership to our Section of Emergency General Surgery (EGS) at our vibrant ACS designated Level I Trauma-Critical Care Surgery program and expand our EGS clinical, surgical, research, and educational activities in conjunction with our Department of Surgery & Division of Trauma-Critical Care Surgery. To be successful in this role, you will collaborate with our integrated, multispecialty system, working with every member of the Trauma team committed to the highest outcome of every procedure we perform. Our division is supported by many other resources associated with our academic institution, including a Research Department within the Division of Trauma-Critical Care Surgery. Creighton University Medical Center is one of only two Level 1 trauma centers in Nebraska (both are located in Omaha) and serves a large catchment area encompassing most of Nebraska and western Iowa. The next closest Trauma Centers are in Kansas City and Des Moines.
