Sentara Health is seeking an Acute Care NP or PA to join the Trauma Service at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. This is a part-time, on-site role with 20 hours per week and rotating weekend coverage.

No ICU responsibilities and a multidisciplinary trauma team of surgeons and APPs support your daily activity. The position offers comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, and a competitive salary range.

With the help of the hospital-based Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and EMS partners in surrounding communities, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital’s trauma program receives patients within a 125-mile radius, from Virginia’s Northern Neck to Ocracoke Island on North Carolina’s Outer Banks. Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and an unrestricted DEA license at the time of start. Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $107,785.60 - $312,000.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
