Mission Health is excited to welcome experienced trauma physician assistants to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. This position offers the chance to work with a stable group of surgeons and take part in direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams.
• Requires experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting.
• Experience with autonomy regarding admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients.

Responsibilities

• Work with a large, stable, and established group of surgeons.
• Interact and support surgical residents on trauma.
• Perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor.

Skills

Experience in trauma and surgery settings

Autonomy in admitting and resuscitating patients

Completion of an accredited physician assistant program

Education

Appropriate certification exams
