Summary

MyMichigan Health has an excellent opportunity for a Trauma Surgeon / Surgical Critical Care Physician to join the Trauma & General Surgery Team in Midland, Michigan! MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is designated as a Level 2 Trauma Center (verification from the America College of Surgeons and the State of Michigan).


Responsibilities

  • Full scope Surgical Critical Care
  • Call 1:5

Certifications and Licensures

  • Board Certified or Eligible by the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of surgery – or equivalent board in another country which is recognized by the American Board of Surgery
    • Applicants must achieve board certification in their primary area of practice within five years from the date of completion of their residency or fellowship training.
  • Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
  • AHA ACLS

Required Education

  • Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency
  • Fellowship trained Surgical Critical Care Physician

Other Information

  • Trauma program is supported by several surgical subspecialists including, but not limited to, cardiothoracic, colorectal, endocrine, neurosurgery, orthopedics and orthopedic trauma, thoracic, urology, and vascular.
  • Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health’s credentialing process

Base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan. Benefits include:
