ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join a collegial group of 13 fellowship-trained Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgeons at our Level 1 Trauma Center in Newark, Delaware.

The position offers a competitive base salary with annual bonus incentives, loan repayment eligibility for PSLF, a sign-on bonus, comprehensive health/dental/vision benefits, and a robust benefits suite including retirement plans and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in General surgery.
• Board-eligible or certified in Surgical Critical Care.
• Preference for call coverage of Trauma, Emergency General Surgery (EGS) and Surgical Critical Care services.
• Interest and participation in education of medical students, residents, and surgical critical care/acute care surgery fellows.
• Preference for candidates interested in surgical research.
