Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to provide expert clinical care in a high acuity environment. You will coordinate assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care with a focus on safety and outcomes.

This role requires Florida RN licensure, a Nursing Diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), BLS certification, and a track record in acute care.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; critical thinking and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
