Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Leader to supervise a cohort of night-shift nurses on the Trauma Stepdown unit. You will partner with unit leadership to drive performance in quality, throughput, service and staff development.

The CSL leads clinical practice development, provides coaching, and ensures high standards of patient care while collaborating with management and education teams. 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• RN with active licensure in TN or eligible for compact license.
• Bachelor's degree required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coach staff and manage cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and support night-shift nurses on the Trauma Stepdown unit.
• Partner with unit leadership to drive quality, throughput, service and staff development.
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff; manage clinical standards and education.
• Engage in problem solving to maintain unit performance and patient care outcomes.
