Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV seeks a Director of Trauma Program to lead trauma services, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive quality initiatives across the Trauma Department. The role emphasizes collaboration with Medical Directors, ED, Surgery, and inpatient services to meet designation standards and improve patient outcomes.

Graduate of an accredited RN program with RN licensure in WV or compact state; BSN/MSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Current WV or compact RN license required.
• Two to five years of trauma services leadership experience preferred.
• National Trauma Certification (TCRN) preferred.
• BLS required; TNCC required.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, and evaluates day-to-day Trauma Services functions.
• Coordinates Trauma Services staff across ED, Surgery and inpatient care.
• Develops the department operating and capital budget and monitors costs within goals.
• Participates in the development of strategic plans and departmental goals for Trauma Services.
• Ensures adherence to Trauma designation/verification requirements and ACS guidelines.
