Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, is seeking a Director of Trauma Program to lead trauma services, streamline operations and ensure accreditation compliance. The RN leader will coordinate departments, align clinical practice with standards, and drive quality improvement across the trauma continuum.

Responsibilities include budgeting, data management, core measures, and collaboration with medical staff, administration, and external agencies to advance patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Requires clinical knowledge of Trauma Services and medical terminology.
• Proficient in data management software and desktop tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, and evaluates day-to-day Trauma Services operations.
• Coordinates Trauma Services staff and interfaces with ED, Surgery, and inpatient teams.
• Ensures quality care and compliance with trauma designation/verification requirements.
• Manages core measures data collection, validation, and reporting.
• Collaborates with Medical Directors and external agencies for program improvements.
