Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC), part of Baylor Scott & White Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a Surgical Inpatient trauma unit in Dallas. You will provide comprehensive nursing care for high-acuity patients, with 12-hour night shifts, 7a-7p, and rotating weekends.

Patient ratios typically 1:4–5 in a fast-paced environment. Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving 50+ miles.

Qualifications

• RN licensed nurse with accredited nursing program
• 1 year or more Med/Surg Tele experience preferred
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to trauma and inpatient surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
