Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 Years of Experience in a related field.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify trauma registry patients and collect required data.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of trauma registry matters.
• Assist with reporting to relevant agencies.
• Participate in data validation and chart auditing.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Knowledge in Trauma Registry methodology

Knowledge of International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding

General computer skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
