Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a Trauma Registrar to identify, abstract, and code trauma patient records at Atrium Medical Center. You will use TraumaBase to enter data and perform basic reporting while collaborating across departments.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in trauma registry or related HIM roles, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy. Travel between departments may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with trauma registry data abstraction and coding preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify, abstracts, enter data and codes trauma patient records using TraumaBase.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure accurate data capture.
• Support simple ad hoc reporting and data quality initiatives.
