Under the direction of the Trauma Services Manager, the Trauma Registrar/Data Analyst is responsible for ongoing review, abstraction, verification, injury & diagnosis coding, and recording of trauma patient demographics, clinical information, and quality improvement reporting in the San Diego Trauma System registry database at RCHSD. Additionally, the role involves retrieving and assembling data from various trauma databases for oversight agency reporting, research, quality improvement, and injury prevention activities. The Trauma Registrar collaborates with RCHSD IS, County & State Emergency Medical Services, and the American College of Surgeons National Trauma Data Bank to ensure data quality, timely submission, and participate in quality indicator screening and PI discussions.
The current salary range for this position is $29.48 to $40.55.
