Position Summary:

Data Analyst/Abstractor to review medical records, abstract clinical data, assign trauma scores, E-codes and ISS/AIS scores. Abstracts clinical information and performance improvement issues concurrently and retrospectively and enters data into database software.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Required: High school graduate; Medical Terminology course. Two years’ experience medical setting. Proficient Computer skills. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Ability to actively and professionally communicate with employees and department directors. Ability and willingness to learn PC applications and utilize critical thinking skills.
  • Preferred: ACD 10 CM Coding, database management and/or degree in health-related field/allied health, RRA or ART, AAAM course completion
