Job summary

Delphi Technologies is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to provide short-term therapy for clients recovering from personal injuries, such as car accidents. The role focuses on trauma processing, emotional healing, and overall well-being within a limited timeframe.

A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required, along with state licensure. Experience in trauma-focused therapies and working in multidisciplinary teams is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor.
• Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused therapies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in short-term therapy, particularly with clients who have experienced personal injuries, is preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant legal and insurance considerations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and treatment planning: conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate on short-term treatment plans.
• Therapeutic interventions: provide trauma-informed therapies (e.g., CBT, solution-focused, mindfulness).
• Crisis intervention: respond to crises and coordinate with emergency services if needed.
• Education and coping strategies: teach clients about injury effects and coping mechanisms.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration: provide updates on client progress to the team.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain progress notes and reports for legal/insurance purposes.
• Ethical standards: safeguard confidentiality and adhere to professional guidelines.
