Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare field
• RN license in state worked or equivalent clinical background
• At least five years acute care clinical experience
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, physicians, patients and business partners

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality and patient safety issues; lead root cause analysis and process improvement with multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and analyze data for administrative and clinical decision making; prepare reports for facilities and external agencies
• Lead task forces to plan and coordinate quality and safety initiatives across the facility and system
• Support facility quality and patient safety goals in line with regulatory and accrediting bodies
• Provide program development support and education on projects; supervise staff if required
• Participate in evidence-based practice implementation at the facility or system level
• Coordinate peer review activities and support departmental improvement initiatives
