Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Trauma Program Director to oversee the direct and indirect care of trauma patients.

The role focuses on coordinating care systems, developing cross-department relationships, and ensuring accreditation standards are met within the Trauma Division of the Nursing Department. The position requires a Master’s degree in Nursing and at least five years of progressive leadership experience, with expertise in emergency surgical or critical care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience.
• Experience in emergency surgical or critical care nursing with a trauma focus.
• Ability to interpret data to meet Trauma Division goals and hospital mission.
• Ability to collaborate with all departments to ensure optimal trauma care delivery.

Job DetailsFull time 40 hours/week day shiftJob DescriptionResponsible for overseeing the direct and/or indirect care of trauma patients utilizing an in-depth professional knowledge of trauma care. Accountable for the monitoring, coordination and evaluation of patient care systems, development of collaborative relationships across the spectrum of trauma care and compliance with trauma accreditation standards for the trauma program.Masters level education required. Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience. Experience in emergency surgical or critical care nursing with a focus on the management of the traumatically injured patient. Demonstrated ability to interpret data for ensuring the fulfillment of the goals and objectives of the Trauma Division, Nursing Department and mission of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Ability to utilize critical thinking and leadership skills to develop liaison relationships with all departments and personnel involved in the care of trauma patients. Ability to collaborate with all departments and personnel of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University to assure optimal healthcare delivery for all trauma patients.
