A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Trauma Program Improvement Coordinator. This role involves analyzing trauma patient data, coordinating improvement initiatives, and engaging with medical professionals to enhance quality and safety standards. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, relevant clinical experience, and strong organizational skills.

Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system by:
(a) promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking
(b) engaging, directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system requirements
(c) promoting improvement
Analyze data on the trauma patient population; identify trends and performance improvement opportunities.
Utilize nursing skills to collect patient care data, summarize data, and formulate reports.
Records, monitors, and reports both retrospective, concurrent, and post discharge data to identify areas for improvement.
Participates in committee meetings, local, state, regional and national, when applicable.
Works with a team to develop action plans to improve performance.
Manages the data collection, monitoring, reporting of identified Performance Improvement issues and ensures action plans are implemented and loop closure is completed.
Coordinates the Trauma Performance Improvement Program in collaboration with the Trauma Leadership Team .
Attends meetings for Trauma Services and any other pertinent meetings as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Works Schedule: 80 Hours bi-weekly
