Job summary

Howard University Hospital is seeking a Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator in Washington, DC. In this full-time position, you will lead trauma quality improvement initiatives, analyze data, and enhance patient care. The ideal candidate should have a BSN, 5+ years of nursing experience in relevant areas, and hold an RN license. The salary range is $75,000 – $99,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including tuition remission for eligible dependents.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience in Emergency, Trauma, or Critical Care.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the District of Columbia.
• Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) certification required within one year of hire.
• Minimum three (3) years of quality improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a multidisciplinary trauma performance improvement program.
• Coordinate and support trauma peer review and outcomes reporting.
• Analyze trauma data and generate reports.
• Conduct clinical rounds and monitor adherence to guidelines.
