Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate in NP program or PA program.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) and prescriptive authority required.
• Collaborative practice agreement with physicians.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly outpatient clinical coverage for trauma follow-ups and post op.
• Performs history, physical assessments; orders and interprets labs.
• Prescribes medications per NJ regulations and educates patients.
• Promotes APN/PA practice recognition through conferences and publications.
• Collaborates with medical staff and participates in interdisciplinary rounds.
• Mentors other APNs/PAs and participates in educational programs.
