Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to join our fast-paced, high-acuity OR. This full-time day shift includes 3/12‑hour shifts (7am–7pm) with on-call requirements. Our OR features 8 state-of-the-art suites, two special procedure rooms, and robotic-assisted surgery.

We are a Level 2 trauma center serving Loudoun County. Eligible nurses may receive sign-on and relocation bonuses; Inova offers comprehensive benefits and professional development

Qualifications

• Experience: requires a minimum of 1 year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Education: BSN or ADN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years.
• License: Must be licensed in Virginia as a Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and develops care plans.
• Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessments and trends.
• Supports patients and families through the healthcare continuum and end-of-life decisions.
• Advocates for patients' rights and provides counseling as a resource.
• Assesses learning needs and supports staff in addressing them.
