Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA, is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to join the Tower OR full-time. Sign-on bonus and relocation are available; work schedule includes 40 hours per week with varied shifts.

The Tower OR handles diverse procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting and operates 24/7. Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, advocacy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Preferred CNOR and Level 1 Trauma experience.
• BSN or ADN from an accredited school of nursing; BSN within 5 years if ADN.
• Virginia RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data.
• Develops individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Supports patients and families through the healthcare continuum.
• Advocates for patients, provides guidance, and resolves issues.
• Assesses ethical, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients.
