Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Trauma Team at our Level II Trauma Center. The role involves hands-on patient care, education, and care planning, with a focus on advocacy and collaboration in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Ideal candidates will have trauma circulating experience in a large hospital system and current Idaho RN licensure with BLS, ACLS/PALS as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• Experience circulating in a large hospital system with trauma designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans.
• Serve as a patient advocate promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
