Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ, seeks a Unit Secretary for Kelemen North 7, a 23-bed medical surgical/telemetry unit. The role handles record keeping and inter-department communications, supporting ED and trauma-admitting area transfers.

You should have a High School diploma, unit secretary certification is desirable, and prior clerical/medical office experience is a plus. Full-time mid shift with weekend/holidays rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital unit secretary, medical office assistant or medical records experience preferred.
• Additional unit-specific qualification may be required.
• Clerical, communication and customer service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and inter-departmental communications.
• Supports nursing staff and physicians with patient records and coordination.
