HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Trauma Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Manager to lead and oversee high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical‑surgical environment. You’ll guide nursing practice, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster teamwork to support outstanding patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, a nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), AHA BLS, and acute care experience with strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour leadership and delivery of safe, high-quality patient care for assigned Trauma Med Surg units.
• Ensure nursing practice standards, policies and regulatory requirements are met.
• Coordinate care using interdisciplinary teams across the hospital.
• Communicate patient progress and treatment with physicians and care teams.
• Develop programs to measure and improve nursing care quality and patient safety.
• Coordinate patient care with other services and departments for seamless care.
